Student Employment Process
Library Human Resources and the Hiring Supervisor share the responsibility for completing the following elements of the Employment Process before the student can begin work. A delay in any of the steps will delay the processing of the student's payroll.

- Library Human Resources (LHR) reviews the requisition for completeness and assigns a level to the position
- LHR reviews the student application and matches them to open requisitions
- LHR refers students to the appropriate hiring supervisor for an interview
- Hiring Supervisor interviews students and discusses job responsibility, work schedule, and a starting/ending date with students during the interview
