The process for hiring managerial employees is the same as the process for hiring a librarian (see Librarian Hiring) except for the following:

1.  Advertising for managerial positions is usually done through the University Postings and local newspapers.

2.  The typical interview for a managerial position is only half a day and the candidate does not usually meet with the University Librarian or the DUL.

3.  The appointment letter sent to a candidate for a managerial position is signed by LPS.
